How much does it cost?

Cost is dependent on the stage of hair loss and what you require from us as well as how many sessions are needed to complete your SMP treatment. After a consultation we’ll be able to issue you an idea of cost.

How LONG WILL IT TAKE?

Usually a full treatment will take three sessions and around 4 - 6 weeks to complete - with each session being a week or two apart. Session times can range, but usually each session is around 2-4 hours.

IS IT A TATTOO?

Usually spread over three sessions (depending on area and severity of hair loss) SMP works by inserting ink underneath the skin, much like a tattoo. Through this method of ‘tattooing’ we thoroughly restore the appearance of a hair follicle at its shortest form.

IS IT PERMANENT?

Scalp Micropigmentation is permanent. A touch up may be required in around 3-6 years dependent on how much direct sunlight touches the top of your scalp which can lead to slight fading.

IS IT PAINFUL?

Mild discomfort can occur with some patients, however the procedure itself is minimally invasive.

WHAT HAPPENS POST TREATMENT?

After treatment you may find some redness which will eventually fade. The results are immediate, and initially the pigment may appear slightly darker than intended, which will eventually fade after around a month.
